Mehmi Financial Group — Vancouver Office

Commercial equipment. A plan built around your business.

From Lower Mainland distribution operations to contractors, clinics and food-service businesses, equipment needs differ by job and location. Compare a purchase or lease using the asset specification, business cash flow and the cost of putting it to work.

A local operating picture matters.

Port, rail and air-cargo activity make transportation, warehousing and material handling important parts of Metro Vancouver’s business landscape. Manufacturing, construction, healthcare and hospitality bring different equipment requirements. A forklift for a warehouse and a diagnostic system for a clinic need different condition, installation and repayment reviews.

Mehmi Financial Group is an equipment financing and leasing brokerage. We help compare options around the asset, purchase price, operating history, cash flow and credit profile.

Plan for the local operation

Bring the practical details behind the purchase.

  • Warehouse layout, dock access and delivery logistics for material-handling equipment
  • Installation space, utilities and commissioning for production assets
  • Delivery and service access for businesses working across the Lower Mainland

Equipment businesses can discuss with us.

Transport & logistics

Highway tractors, trailers, commercial vans, forklifts and dock equipment.

  • Consider route, payload and expected utilization.
  • Budget insurance, maintenance and operating cash.

Construction & manufacturing

Excavators, skid steers, loaders, CNC machines, presses and packaging systems.

  • Include delivery, attachments and commissioning.
  • Check condition, hours and service support.

Clinics & customer-facing businesses

Dental chairs, diagnostic equipment, commercial ovens, refrigeration and other business assets.

  • Separate fixed assets from recurring supplies.
  • Budget installation, training and business interruption.

Compare ownership, flexibility and cash use.

Loan, lease and cash purchase: compare the complete commitment
ApproachHow it worksWhat to review
Equipment loanA purchase financed over an agreed term.Review security, down payment, total repayment and any final balance.
Equipment leaseUse of the asset under a contract with defined end-of-term conditions.Compare rentals, deposit, buyout or return conditions and residual exposure.
Cash purchasePay the seller from available business funds.Compare the upfront cash use with operating reserves and other planned spending.

A financing label does not determine tax treatment. Canadian and U.S. rules differ, and a lease may be treated differently from a purchase depending on the agreement. Confirm deductions, sales tax and timing with your accountant.

Separate the equipment budget from the operating budget.

The quote is the starting point, not the entire cash requirement. A purchase can also involve inspection, freight, site preparation, installation and a period before the asset produces revenue. Show these items separately and confirm which costs the proposed financing covers.

For an expansion, compare the additional contribution with the full payment and operating commitment. For a replacement, review repair costs, expected downtime and the amount still owed on the current asset. A trade-in allowance does not necessarily clear the existing balance.

A practical planning checklist

Use your own numbers and one currency.

  • Record the purchase price and amount due before delivery.
  • Budget delivery, setup and non-financed costs.
  • List existing monthly financing commitments.
  • Test a slower sales or utilization case.
  • Keep a reserve for maintenance and normal operations.

Make the application clear from the start.

Start with the equipment and the business purpose, then document how the payment fits the operating cycle. New and used equipment, dealer purchases and private sales may be considered, subject to the application and verification.

For a used unit, explain age, hours or mileage, condition and service history. For specialized machinery, include installation, acceptance and supplier support. Share any sale deadline before paying a deposit.

Documents to prepare

The exact request depends on the transaction.

  • Supplier quote and equipment specifications
  • Business registration and ownership information
  • Recent bank and financial statements
  • Current debt, trade-in and payout information
  • Inspection, photos and service records where relevant

Questions, answered.

Do you work with businesses outside Vancouver?

Yes. Share the business address and equipment location. Mehmi supports requests from nearby communities, across Canada and eligible U.S. markets; availability and terms vary by location and transaction.

Can I finance used equipment or a private sale?

Used assets and private sales may be considered. Provide equipment identification, condition, seller details and the proposed purchase terms. Ownership, liens and valuation may need verification before a transaction can proceed.

What if the business is newer or has credit challenges?

Explain the operating history, relevant experience, available contribution and repayment plan. The asset and business profile are reviewed together. A request can be discussed without implying that approval or a particular product is guaranteed.

What costs should I include in the request?

Separate the equipment price from taxes, delivery, installation, inspections and working capital. Confirm which costs are eligible for the proposed structure and how much must be paid from business funds.

How are rates and timing determined?

Costs and timing depend on the product, business profile, equipment, verification and completion of conditions. Compare a written proposal and identify seller deadlines early; no funding date is guaranteed.

Can I meet with someone at the office?

Contact Mehmi at 1-833-863-4644 or through the contact page to arrange a meeting. Confirm availability before visiting the office.
